PAWER. No more arthrosis.

Your dog's treatment pathway.

With PAWER, results are visible after only a few weeks. The therapy provides immediate anti-inflammatory effects and rapid pain relief. Full recovery is reached within two or three months after the therapy.

After the first check-up for the diagnosis, the treatment procedure requires only two further appointments, within one week from each other, at one of the authorised Clinical Practices.

1

Is it really arthrosis?

First of all, your Veterinarian will observe the way your dog walks; then, he or she will identify the compromised joints and will decide whether to perform an X-ray. Once the diagnosis of arthrosis is confirmed, your dog will undergo the usual pre-surgical screenings.

2

Few minutes under general anaesthesia and liposuction.

Your dog will be administered a rapid-acting general anaesthesia. The surgery will last only 10 minutes. A little sample of adipose tissue - about 10 millilitres – will be collected through liposuction. This operation is minimally invasive since it requires only a little incision and few suturing stitches. After the entire procedure your dog will be able to return home walking on its own legs.

3

One week wait at home.

The following week your dog will be staying at home leading a normal life. During this time, its adipose sample will be sent to VivaBioCell laboratories. Here the stem cells are extracted and amplified, bringing their number from a few thousand to millions. Finally, the stem cells are returned to your Veterinarian.

4

Last visit to your Veterinarian.

During this last appointment, your dog stem cells will be re-injected into your dog's compromised joints through an intra-articular injection. Following the procedure your dog will be able to return home on its own legs. You will follow your Veterinarian's recommendations for the necessary rehabilitation and full recovery of your dog.

PAWER therapy includes the storage of your dog's stem cells for a period of two years. In order to avoid more samplings, one can request to extend the storage time for potential future treatments (for example, in the event of another compromised joint).

The therapy has been successfully developed and applied for the treatment of arthrosis. It is not adequate for the treatment of other illnesses.
