Dog arthrosis.

Arthrosis, or osteoarthritis, is a degenerative, chronic and progressive joint disease.

It is a very common illness; in fact, it affects about 20% of dogs of all age, young, adult and elderly.

Arthrosis affects the principal group of joints (knees, elbows and hips). It may seriously compromise our dogs' normal activity level. It has direct consequences on their quality and style of life. Lack of energy and appetite and irritability are frequent symptoms that come with this disease.

There are several factors causing Arthrosis in dogs:

Arthrosis can affect any joint tissues and it is usually caused by the wear and tear of the cartilage around a joint, eventually leading to the cartilage wearing away completely, often resulting in your joint having bone-to-bone contact. Moreover, the joint capsule may thicken and the synovium (the inner layer of the joint capsule) may become inflamed (synovitis).

All this may cause pain, inducing your pet to assume abnormal postures or limp, favour one or more legs to relieve the discomfort.

PAWER innovative treatment regenerates and heals the compromised tissues as the cartilage. It has also direct anti-inflammatory effects with a consequent rapid pain relief.
